TAKE ACTION
With just a handful of weeks remaining until the opening of the Pulse and the reorganizing of Richmond’s bus lines, GRTC needs a bunch of volunteers to help with unveiling the new system. Learn more and sign up for a fun four-hour shift over on GRTC’s website.
AROUND THE REGION
Development on the Broad Street corridor and around Pulse Stations continues! Richmond BizSense talks to the folks behind the Gather coworking space and their move to the 300 block of E. Broad Street. In an email to existing members, Gather “emphasized its location along GRTC’s bus-rapid transit line and near other development occurring along the corridor.”
Local transportation expert Mariia Zimmerman popped up on the national Talking Headways podcast last month, and it’s worth a listen. Learn about her experiences with equitable transportation development policy and then think about how we can apply those lessons here in Richmond!

CityLab has launched a new bus-focused series called Bus to the Future and are already six articles deep. Make sure you read the introductory piece, “Love the Bus, Save Your City” and the latest piece describing how Seattle gets bus service right.
