Purpose

The Rider’s Voice aims to amplify the stories, experiences, concerns, and interests of bus riders for better transit in the Richmond region. The ultimate mission is to make it easier to get around everyday life using public transit.

how does it work?

Call (804) 286-0007 and leave a message or fill out the online survey. Share your thoughts in general about the bus (What’s going right? What needs improvement?), or focus on one of our main pillars: More Buses, More Places; Dignified Places to Wait; or Making Zero-Fare Permanent. We encourage you to be specific, concise and share details about your particular story. How is your life impacted by this aspect of riding the bus? Data can change minds, while stories can change hearts. We need both to make change.

When we get your response, we will be in touch with you. We have our eyes and ears out for themes that emerge across calls and surveys, and we will work with you to amplify and advocate around these key issues affecting our bus system.

To every extent possible, we will also help connect you to answers for any questions or concerns, whether from GRTC, the City, Henrico County, or Chesterfield County. If you have a specific customer service concern for GRTC, you can reach out to them directly at ridegrtc.com/need-help/contact-us/.
