When: Wednesday, May 30, 2018
Where: Hilton Downtown, 501 East Broad Street
Special guest speakers will be Carrie Rose Pace of GRTC and Mark Olinger, Director of Planning and Development Review for the City. The forum will be an excellent opportunity to learn more about the ways the new system will shape the City, and it is being hosted by our friends at Partnership for Smarter Growth.
The Pulse will be just the second Bus Rapid Transit line in the state. But there’s more… when it opens on June 24th, the Pulse will be combined with an updated transit network which will speed transit travel across the city. Meanwhile, Henrico County will soon launch its first significant transit expansion. Carrie will update us on all of these changes.
We'll also learn about the Pulse Corridor Transit-Oriented Development plan which will shape growth in a large part of the city. The city is booming—learn how we can be engaged in shaping its future.
Come early for a “Walk and Talk” led by Stewart Schwartz, PSG Board member, and our forum speakers. They’ll show us first-hand how the Pulse stations work and point out the big changes on Broad Street.
We’ll have food and a cash bar with time for networking before and after the forum.
