Our Transit Talk webinar on Wednesday, August 25, will be focused on the City's Office of Equitable Transit and Mobility (OETM)! We'll have an opportunity to talk with guests Dironna Clarke, OETM's Head Administrator, and Kelli Rowan, OETM's Transit, Planning & Mobility Program Manager. Dironna and Kelli will be sharing about OETM's work and its current "Path to Equity" (rva.gov/connects) policy guide, which is part of an overall transportation plan for the City of Richmond. As always, we will also have a news update on transit in the region and hear perspectives shared through the Rider's Voice program.
The Sarah Garland Jones Center & RVA Rapid Transit have partnered to host The Church Hill Gospel Fest on Saturday, July 10th. The lineup will include R. Timothy Haughton & Renewed, Jaccarri Woodson, April Robinson, LaTonya Camp Gregory Amos, and more! We welcome everyone to this outdoor concert! Bring your family, smiles, and tambourines!!!
Also, RVA Rapid Transit will launch their ADOPT A STOP campaign that encourages community engagement through volunteerism to help maintain transit stops and keep the neighborhoods of the Richmond Region beautiful. If you, your civic association, or your youth group are looking for ways to serve your community, make sure you stop by the RVA Rapid Transit tent during the event.

This is an opportunity for small businesses and organizations to build relationships within the community and promote their brand. Our Transit Talk webinar on Thursday, June 17, will be focused on how we can enhance bus stops throughout our transit network. We'll have an opportunity to talk with guests Sean O'Brien, Director of Community Health with Bon Secours Richmond Health System n & Julie Timm, GRTC'S CEO. Sean & Julie will be sharing about Bon Secours' recent partnership with GRTC to get 14 new bus stop shelters installed in the East End.
As always, we will also hear perspectives shared through the Rider's Voice program, and we'll also discuss RVA Rapid Transit's new "Better Bus Stops Program," which recently launched and seeks to improve bus stops in our region through litter clean up, as well as opportunities to sponsor benches and shelters.

Adrienne is formerly the Director of Planning and Scheduling. The CDO is a newly created executive position responsible for short- and long-term implementation of GRTC service plans and projects. In addition to extensive coordination with local, regional, state, and federal partners, the CDO has expanded oversight internally of the Planning, Scheduling, Marketing, and Customer Service Departments, and supports GRTC senior leadership.
