Richmond Transit Network Plan is Here! - The first set of meetings for this incredibly unique chance to enhance and improve our current bus system are here. Through interaction with the project team, these meetings afford an opportunity to: (1) learn the details of this planning process; (2) see how transit performs in Richmond compared to other regions; (3) learn tradeoffs between different transit goals and their affect on a bus network's design; and (4) provide key feedback on which transit goals you think are most important for Richmond.
There are three distinct nights to join (6-8 pm April 19 & 20 and May 3) and one midday meeting (12-2 pm May 4), so please be sure to carve out time to make it to one of these.
6-8 pm Tuesday, April 19 - Southside Community Service Center (4100 Hull Street Road, Richmond, VA, 23224)
6-8 pm Wednesday, April 20 - Peter Paul Development Center (1708 North 22nd Street, Richmond, VA 23223)
6-8 pm Tuesday, May 3 - DMV Richmond Central Service Center (2300 West Broad Street, Richmond, VA 23230)
12-2 pm Wednesday, May 4 - Main Public Library Auditorium (101 East Franklin Street, Richmond, VA 23219)
This is not just a plan for the shelf, but intended for implementation, so broad-based public input is key! For more info head to www.facebook.com/richmondtnp.
