Hot off the news that the Better Housing Coalition will buy the old Quality Inn on Broad Street for some transit-oriented development, comes this extremely apropos meeting. Stop by the Main Library on Thursday the 29th to hear some smart folks discuss potential development along the Pulse Corridor—courtesy of the city's Department of Development and Review:

Come hear from Chris Leinberger and Chris Zimmerman of Smart Growth America (SGA) about the development potential for the Pulse Corridor. The Pulse BRT alignment runs through the heart of our city and augments market forces that are drawing people to Richmond’s core. Learn about the analysis of the market potential of each BRT station and discover which ones are the most ripe for investment. Be prepared to discuss how to leverage private and public investment along the Corridor.
