A Talk by Jarrett Walker, Internationally Recognized Transit Expert and Author of Human Transit

Join us for a special evening with Jarrett Walker.  His consulting team is making groundbreaking recommendations for improving Richmond’s transit system and has more than 20 years experience leading similar studies around the world, including the recent total redesign of Houston's bus system.

  • Tuesday, October 18th • 6:00 - 8:00 PM

  • Registration begins at 5:30 PM

  • St. Paul's Episcopal Church

  • 815 E Grace St, 23219 (accessible by multiple bus lines, and parking info here)

Jarrett will inspire us with the possibilities for modern transit in the Greater Richmond Region, and update us on his team’s work on the Richmond Transit Network Plan.  This plan offers the possibility of more frequent service and convenient service across the city.

We’ll also share updates on:

  • The Richmond Regional Transit Vision Plan – a plan for high-capacity transit extending into the suburbs
  • Planning for mixed-use transit-oriented development along the Pulse Bus Rapid Transit Corridor.

But these improvements won’t happen without your involvement!  Join us for this important update and see what our future could hold.
